Makes You Wonder?

False flag (also known as black flag) operations are covert operations designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. The name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is: flying the flag of a country other than one’s own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations and can be used during peace-time. False flag events have been used by many governments over the years, including our own, to pull us into a conflict, remove unfavorable racemes, or to change public perception on an issue or person. Conspiracy folks run with this concept to blame and accuse our own government of all kinds of  staged events to get their way, and sometimes they actually make sense!

This week  The Syrian government has reiterated that it will never use chemical weapons against its people. In a letter to the UN, the Foreign Ministry has expressed concerns that countries supporting the rebels may provide them with chemical weapons, which could later be used to frame the government. The ministry also says rebels recently took control of a chlorine plant in Allepo, which gives them the ability to manufacture chemical weapons. The Foreign Ministry is calling on the international community to stop chemical weapons from falling into the hands of terrorist groups. It’s cited a Turkish report which says members of al-Qaida are manufacturing chemical weapons near the Turkish city of Gazian-tep and have threatened to use them against Syrian civilians.

Now it's not like you can trust the Syrian government to tell the truth, or most governments for that fact, but it does lead one to wonder. For months president Obama has wanted to put troops on the ground in Syria but with the pending elections it was very un popular with the American voters. Now that the elections are over the time "seems" right for him to move on this and all he needs is a reason. Couple that with the official press conference this week where Obama warned the Syrian government to not use any WMDs of there would be serious "consequences"
